Tim at Safe-Direct was great - very prompt in responding to all of my questions and found a carrier ASAP at a good price.

My only qualm is that the customer service of the carrier they used - Do It Auto Transport Inc. is extremely disorganized. The morning of the Wednesday my car arrived, I had called Do It to find out when my car was going to arrive. They told me between Friday and Sunday. Five hours later, the same woman I spoke with called to tell me that my car was in California and ready to be dropped off. I was not yet in California and my boyfriend, who lives in California, had to scramble to get the cashier's check in the middle of a workday. It was obvious that when I called that morning, they did not actually check where the car was or call the driver to see when he was schedule to arrive. If they had, it would have been a lot easier to coordinate the payment

I do not blame this on Safe-Direct, but if they assign you to DoIt Auto Transport, make sure that your schedule is very flexible as to the destination drop-off date and don't expect much advance notice.
