Other than a few small issues, Safe-Direct did an excellent job. The car arrived on time without any damage, which is all that really matters. This was our first time using a transport company and I think we will use this company again in the future. The issues we encountered are probably part of the business and the email issue described below was not their fault, but I will describe the experience.

We did have some communication issues in the beginning of our transaction. Emails from the company were going to my spam folder and I was confused about expectations early on. There was suddenly a "late payment" when I hadn't received notification about what or how to pay, which was cleared up immediately. I was expecting information about the carrier that would be driving the car so that I could research before committing, but the driver ended up calling me directly, which prompted me to ask Safe-Direct for the carrier's information, which was out of order in my opinion.

The driver showed up on the day we expected them, but they came late in the day after we had spent the whole day packing for the move, which was inconvenient. The afternoon before the car arrived, the carrier called telling us the car would be there in an hour (a day earlier than we expected), which caused me to rush to the bank to get a cashier's check for the driver. Then on our way back to meet the driver, we got a call saying that the driver had encountered issues and would not be there until the next morning. I showed up to meet the driver at the time they told us he would be there (we were not in our home yet so I had to drive with 2 small children from a temporary apartment), and after waiting an hour or so I called and they told me the driver would be there soon and about 15 minutes later the car was there.
