Minor problems, satisfied overall

Tom was great to work with. Very knowledgeable and upfront. We chose Safe Direct because of their marketing material was very honest and explained how things really worked. We also liked the fact that they guaranteed they would cover any damage that the carrier does not. The price was a bit higher than some other quotes, but we felt it was worth paying a bit more for a higher level of service, and the guarantee.

The shipper was 2 days late in picking up our vehicle. However, we knew this was a possibility and we had planned so that it wouldn't be a problem. I contacted Tom and he contacted the shipper as well.

The shipper promised that they would make up the time and deliver by the scheduled date. In fact, the driver said that he would have it there within 36 hours! This didn't happen, but still, even with the initial delay, the vehicle was delivered by (actually before) the scheduled delivery date.

Overall, it was a good experience.
