I chose Safe-Direct car shipping after a lot of personal research as I was a first timer to auto shipping. I used both the transport review board (which can be very overwhelming) and the Better Business Bureau website. After thorough investigation, I found that the company reviews were outstanding. The service agent, Tim, walked me through the whole process and kept me updated on every step.

The truck driver from Dealers Auto Transport, LLC was very nice, and I had no qualms about leaving him the keys to our Audi. The car even made it to my destination before I did. This normally may have been a problem with some companies, but the driver stayed an extra day to meet me. He said he had to attend to the rear axle on his truck so it was no problem at all. The arrived safely but it was very dirty. That is to be expected if you choose an open carrier in the dead of winter going 1300 miles. The only downside was a flat rear tire . . . however, I knew that the tires on this car were low profile to begin with and I myself had been at the bad end of 2 flats with this car already. I have insurance for all 4 tires on this car for that reason. After a discussion with the truck driver, I decided that the 2 companies had treated me so well that I didn't want to go through the hassle of getting it paid for by either of them. I just used my own tire insurance to replace it.

Does this sound strange? Probably, but both Tim & the truck driver went above and beyond to take care of me. Tim even offered to let me drop the car off at his house if I couldn't make it on time as he happened to live in my destination city. The driver took the time to discuss his life and even his grand children with me.

Overall, I am very satisfied with both Safe-Direct car shipping and Dealers Auto Transport, LLC. Thank you for a great shipping experience, and I will definitely be using you again if the occasion ever arises.
