When I first researched a way to transport my '93 Corolla from NJ to California, I was shocked at the barrage of phone calls and emails, several from folks who sounded less than professional or transparent - like TV characters! Terrified, I delayed for several weeks.

Finally, I decided to post an inquiry on YELP, and individually checked out the few companies that individuals recommended. When I read the Safe-Direct's website, I saw and FELT that this company was stretching itself to be more professional and transparent.

Sure enough, from my initial inquiry - by phone voicemail and email - the level of attention and patience (I am a senior citizen) was outstanding. First, they immediately assigned ONE agent, David F., to deal with me for the whole process. Second, their website explained the process, step by step, and David reviewed the process when I had questions.
Safe-Direct quickly found a carrier, and then found another when my person (in NJ) failed to connect with the first carrier. Safe-Direct invoice was clear and payment process clean-$200 deposit online; $900 cash or certified on delivery. Confirmation of my deposit online came within moments after my payment!

Car was picked up on October 5 and delivered before 10am on October 9th - over Columbus Day holiday weekend. That delivery time beat anything I had read anywhere about moving an auto across the country. The young delivery driver from the shipper, Ace Auto Trans, was neatly groomed, polite, articulate - crisp. David, Safe-Direct, emailed me within minutes of the delivery to make sure everything went well. The entire experience was one of the best I have had with services of ANY type. Safe Direct took me from being terrified to feeling terrific!
