This was my first time shipping a car, and thankfully using Safe Direct Car Shipping was a very simple experience. After having some not-so-simple experiences with requesting quotes from other brokers, within a few minutes of applying for the online quote, I was emailed a quote by Chris with a link to set up the transport. Their website is so informative that I had very few questions, but I called Chris just to verify the few that I had and he easily answered them and cleared everything up for me. He also called a few days before my car was due to ship to run through how I should handle things that day. My car shipped with Ace Auto Transport and they picked up my car from a friend on the very first day it was available. Ace Auto Trans made two or three phone calls to me before and after the pick up to be sure everything was as I needed, and Jason, the driver, called me twice while on the road to verify information and set up a drop-off time and place. He was at the scheduled pick up place exactly on time- I actually arrived 10 minutes late and my car was already off the truck and waiting for me in a parking spot with Jason right beside it (the roads leading to my house are not fit for a large transport truck). The cost ($945 after a $30 rebate) was middle-of-the-road compared with other shipping rates, but I felt like it was a very fair cost. It was a very simple car shipping experience and I will definitely use Safe Direct and hopefully Ace Auto Trans again if needed.
