At first, it was difficult to decide upon a broker to arrange for shipping m car from California to Pennsylvania. Then it became easier. Some companies were too pushy, wanting a decision before I was ready. Some were not BBB rated or were not even BBB certified. Others wanted a deposit before giving me the contact information for the transporter. Some were priced much too high in comparison with the rest of the quotes or didn't want to tell me how much of the quote represented the broker's fee. By the end of the process, I decided upon Safe-Direct.

David at Safe-Direct gave me information when I wanted it, by telephone, by e-mail and on his web site. He explained that all brokers work from the same notice board and that carriers looked at the board to see what transport price was being offered for the cars on the board. We started a bit low (lower than David's original quote), but had no takers at that price. Within days we both decided to raise the original bid by $50 and wound up with a carrier for $1000, a price very close to David's original quote. I felt that I had gotten the best price I could have gotten, thanks to David's efforts.

The carrier arrived on time and the car was delivered on time.
