Thursday April 10, 2014, I contracted Rock Bottom Rate Transport to transport my 2000 Mazda B3000 pick up truck from Windsor, CT to Bayonne, NJ. Mike, owner of Rock Bottom Rate Transport promised to pick my vehicle on same day but not later than Tuesday, April 15. He asked my credit card info but I was reluctant to provide him information over the phone. When he realized that I'm unwilling to provide him information, he told me that I'll not pay up front until after the vehicle is picked and delivered in NJ but he needs my card info for reservation only. After long persuasion, I agreed and I gave him my card information Since Thursday, April 10, 2014 no driver from his company or on his behalf came to pick my vehicle (my vehicle was never picked). I called him many times but won't pick my calls. Left him several messages on his phone, he won't return my calls. Sent him several emails, he won't respond. It was yesterday April 15, 2014 I noticed on my credit card statement that he had taken $144.99 from my card on April 10, 2014. I have reported him and his company to my bank as fraud. I'm using this medium to warn public that Mike is a fraudster and public should be careful of doing business with his company Rock Bottom Rate Transport.
