On August 19th I went with Mike's Quote from Rock Bottom Auto transport to move my car from Texas to Missouri on August 30th for $400. I paid a $200 downpayment on August 19th, which is required before they can dispatch a pick up. He told me once they had my deposit they would dispatch this to a carrier. Now on the Day of pick up my dealer called and asked when they were going to be there to get the car. I called Mike at Rock Bottom in the morning and he said that no carrier was assigned at that time. He also try to tell me I would need to pay more money. I told him that we had an agreement for that date and price . I got really angry and I told him I was going to call my bank and dispute the charge for a service I never received. I told him the only way he could fix this is if he picks my car up today. He emailed me back and told me I am insane, and I should look at my contract. He said it allows for delays. I told him just because his contract allows for delays, it doesn't mean you can not schedule a pick up at all for the day the client requested and refer to that as a delay. The first dispatch letter of any type, I received was on August 30th, at 4:39 pm, I had no idea I should have gotten something like this around the 19th or 20th of August with my pick up information. I have never done anything like this before and I totally trusted Mike to take care of this and to do his job. I never dreamed that when I scheduled my pick up with this company on August 19th for a pick up 11 days later, they would simply not schedule it and try and call this a delay and keep my $200. I told the guy when he said they could pick it up on Friday, that I was not interested and that I would have my dealer take care of the shipping, so I could get my car. I called my dealer, wired the money to ship the car on Wednesday, August 31st, the day after my car was originally supposed to be picked up and it was shipped that day by a carrier. I received my car one day later on Sept 1st. I am glad I got my car, but it was a horrible experience trying to get here with this company. Mike never once owned up to his mistake and he at one point cussed at me and sent me a very unprofessional email. I would never recommend this company!!!!!!!

As everyone can see this is our first negative review out of numerous satisfied clients; we offered many options to accommodate the customer and she is simply the 1 in 10 in-pleas-able; you couldn't pay our firm $1000 broker fee to work for this client as again she is the most demanding and foul mannered customer any transport company doesn't want anything to do with; we have have been working in the industry for nearly 10 years, opened our own firm and cannot believe the clients actions taken, words spoken to us as inhumane behaviors. I think our previous reviews speak for our 5 star reputation and feel this is slander to our firms' reputation. Thanks and disregard this falsified review as we even offered to eat the cost (partial refund) for the COD. RBRT Auto Transport Staff!
