Nonexistent Customer Service

Just like all the other 1 star reviews, the customer service in my experience was nonexistent with RoadRunner. They called me and emailed me multiple times to get my business, but they would never call me back or answer my emails after I booked. I initially chose them because they seemed professional on the phone and I booked my shipment over a month in advance, big mistake. After I booked with them, they went radio silent. 2 days after my requested pickup date, RoadRunner still had not assigned me a carrier, nor had they provided me any information as to why a carrier wasn't picking up my car. Ironically, the fastest customer service I got from them was when I requested to cancel my shipment with them. I shot them an email and they cancelled my order within the hour. I'd recommend using Ship A Car Direct instead of RoadRunner. Ship A Car Direct answered my call on the first ring, the customer service extremely helpful and gave me honest and straight answers. RoadRunner was too eager to get my business and didn't tell me the negative information to help me make a smart decision. It turns out, the quote a company gives you will fluctuate due to gas prices and booking too far in advance is risky. If gas prices rise, which is what happened in my case, carriers will not pick up your car because the original quote is now too low. RoadRunner failed to mention this, seemed fine with leaving me out to dry when carriers didn't accept the shipment, and failed to communicate with me at all. My recommendation for improvement to the company, strengthening your customer service department by answering phone calls, returning voicemails, and writing back to your customers via email will help you keep business. You lost mine.
