The perfect original paint car that I spent over 2 years looking for was parked uncovered under an old junker of a car that was profusely leakng fluiids and shedding rust. After being exposed to this leaking junker for about a week, my car arrived completely covered with a film of oil, other fluids and rust. More problematic was a puddle of what smelled like brake fluid that was on the roof of my car. It was obvious that ths puddle and a drip running from it had penetrated the clear coat of the paint (thus ruining the roof paint and destroying the premium value that I paiid for a car with all original paint). The driver, EMIL FRENT, refused to take any responsibility. He said per his standard bill of lading (that was never presented to me for execution) that he was not responsible for damage caused by leaks. (That apparently explains why he saw no need to cover or otherwise protect my car from th junker above that was obviously leaking. Indeed, after the delivery of my car, he put another one in its place). Emil also was of the view that brake fluid doesn't hurt paint and showed me by pouring some on another customer's car. He then suggested that the paint issue on the roof of my car was present when he picked it up. This was just an outright lie not supported by Emil's inspection report upon pickup , the seller's pictures or the seller's representations As a final note, upon Emil's hasty departure he ran over a street sign and just kept going.
