RIley's Quality Transporters Inc is the same company as TLC Transporters Inc. Before even thinking about using this company, see the reviews that they are trying to hide by using another company name.I needed to have two vehicles transported to California, and being inexperienced with the vehicle shipping business I went to the internet. WHen I chose TLC Transporters, I received numerous calls from (Bob) the sales rep. On 2-28-11, I paid a deposit on both vehicles, which I was told would be picked up on or before 3-04-11. Reading the contract, it says in fine print that they have a ten business day grace period. Well the pick up day and the ten day grace period have passed, and still no pick up of either vehicle. The problem that I am having is that since paying my deposit, Bob, Teddy, nor anyone else will answer the phones, nor will they return any of the numerous messages I have left. The only contact I have received was approx two weeks ago, a male saying his name was (Teddy) said he needed $150 more per vehicle. WHen I said I had signed a contract with Bob, he hung up, and I have not been able to contact anyone again. After reading the reviews of similar incidents of collecting deposits and not preforming the services, I have contacted the District Attorneys office regarding a Fraud investigation. Safe yourself a headache, and use a reputable shipping company with numerous good reviews.
