Riley Auto Transports contacted me after receiving notice that I was looking for a company to have my vehicle shipped from Texas to California. After giving me a reasonable offer over the phone I decided it was a good price so I would go with them. Upon conclusion I was informed that I would receive all information and confirmation numbers for any transactions through E-mail. Upon conclusion of my first phone call I was asked for my card number for an initial 195.00 brokerage fee. I never did receive any form of confirmation even after confronting the company, until two days later I received a call stating that my card had been run twice and one would be voided. After the usual 24-96 hrs I called to inform the company that I had not received any confirmation once more and I had still not been reimbursed for the additional 195.00. After calling and not getting through 4-5 times I left 2 voice mails, one stating the what I just told you and the other stating that if I didn't receive a call by 1800 California time I would be canceling any services with them and finding somebody else. I received a call the next day from Debbie telling me in a rude manner that I would not receive any money back and I can get in trouble for going to different company, but by that point I had already called another company and set up services with them. After letting Riley Auto know I would not be continuing services I called my other company and told them what I was told, the manager then reassured me I would not get into any trouble for going to another company. I believe this company Riley Auto Transports, if it even is a company is solely based on fraudulent acts and should be investigated for further lawful punishments of fraud and scams.
Thanks for nothing,
I win

The story that he is weaving is just an attempt to disguise the real reason he wanted to cancel. He received a low ball quote after he booked with us, which he thought would move his truck at a lower price, they never do! We did in fact have a driver for him in just five days. Contrary to his story, all confirmations were indeed sent to him & among the many lies in his story, he refers to a contract # that doesn,t exist in our system.
