Rude and dishonest

After reading the reviews here and getting an affordable quote I booked Reliable to take my BMW 323 from San Diego to Florida. The day I booked it I was told that at most it would be 3 weeks from that day to the time of delivery. So after two-and-a-half weeks I called to see if they knew when a truck might be headed my way and was told by the California office that they had no trucks, that all of the trucks were delivering cars to Pebble Beach and that they didn't see a pickup date for a while. I was then referred to the Florida office and Ben, the person who initially booked my reservation and quoted me the three week time frame. When I asked Ben what was going on he became rude, combative, and said "you were on a standby rate" so you'll just have to wait. I told him that I understood that, but that if he knew it could take 3,4,5,6, weeks then tell me that UP FRONT, that he should be honest and forward and not say "three weeks" when he knows it may take longer. His attitude was so horrendous that when I suggested I would cancel my order because of his attitude, he hung up. Is that customer service?

I could have chosen any number of carriers but I chose Reliable, a company that through this one person, made it clear that they did not value my business, did not value me as a customer either now or in the future. So thanks to Ben Obrochta, I am taking my $1323 and giving to another company.
