I'm familiar with Reliable Carriers, Inc. as an observer and now as a customer. How so? They park their trucks about a mile from where I work and for years I drive slowly past the trucks to see what goodies are inside! Sometimes, I stop and have a good look. The drivers I chatted with were all very friendly and professional and I learned that Reliable does a lot of contract work with auto manufacturers and auto museums.

After abandoning the idea of renting the car trailer to go behind the U-Haul for my 1965 Porsche I contacted Reliable to discuss enclosed car shipment. My Porsche is under restoration and has no windshield, lights, hood latch, driver and passenger door windows. We agreed on the price and the pick-up. On the appointed day an 80-foot trailer came down my narrow street and the driver parked around the corner and I drove my car into the trailer. The expertise of the driver in securing the car was obvious. I'd selected "Carrier Convenience" to save money and was suprised when the following week I got a call telling me when it would be in Seattle. As I was still in Los Angeles, I contacted my daughter-in-law to wait by the house with the garage door open. The driver had called and told us when he'd be there, and everything was set. Then I got a phone call from the driver. Our street was built with a jog and he couldn't get his 80 footer around the jog. So, after some discussion he took the car to Portland while I figured out Plan "B". A few days later he unloaded the Porsche in a large parking lot and a tow truck I'd hired picked up the car and hauled it a mile to the house.

Reliable was really good, the communication was excellent and I'd recommend them to anyone!
