GPS Got Stolen

During this auto transport, Reindeer actually outsourced the job to a third-party company CAA transport, which I also wrote a review on. The whole process was reasonably smooth except my GPS stored in the glove compartment was stolen upon delivery. It appears to be theft because there's no reason GPS needs to be removed from the glove box at any point during the transport. The suction cup attached to the interior windshield was also deliberately removed. My family's cross-country move was a bit in rush and we trusted that no one would actually deliberately open the glove compartment and took things from it. Unfortunately it happened. When I tried to contact the personal QA agents Jessica Scholz and Scott Ton, I was told Jessica was on a lunch break and Scott was on another line. Apparently, Jessica either never came back from her lunch break or intentionally avoided it cuz she never called back. Scott brushed the issue off by replying my email saying that he has forwarded it to the claim department. It's ironic in their emails they say "If at any time during this process you feel as if the service you are receiving is less than excellent, please notify me ASAP so I may assist in resolving". Apparently, based on my experience they're difficult to reach. When I talked to the claim, they told me as I would've guessed "sorry we 're not responsible for any personal item left in the vehicle" - and that's it. I wondered why they would even need a claim department? I requested that they hunt things down and talk to the drivers but I would imagine the effort would be in vain because they gave me the impression they are not motivated at all- at least at the end of the day, I never got a call back. Apparently calling up a few drivers is so difficult for them to do and how can you entrust them with your vehicle? I don't expect the GPS to be found but will not recommend anyone to use this company.
