This is the first time I have ever shipped a vehicle. I had heard horror stories from a lot of different people all over the country about the difficulties in having their vehicle shipped, from damages, to missing vehicles, to pick-up and/or drop-off times that were grossly inaccurate.
This was enough for me to have a relative drive my BMW from MI to AZ. However, this was not an option for the return trip. I received the name of Red Carpet Auto Transport from someone in AZ.
Overall, things happened very rapidly. I was a little under pressure to get the vehicle picked up by a certain date, so I had no time to shop around for a quote. I ended up using Red Carpet at the last moment.
Everything worked out okay. Communication was not as crisp as I like it to be, but I set very high standards when working with vendors.
My vehicle was delivered within 5 days. Understandably, it was filthy dirty, and it was very hard to discern if there was any damage done to the vehicle upon delivery. I made a note of that on my paperwork.
The driver was courteous and worked expediently to get the car out of his trailer. He offered me a discount if I worked with him again, which is nice to know for repeat business.
I felt very pressured from the start to give a "5 STAR EXCELLENT SERVICE" review, and that is most likely why I am not giving one here. I feel a little hounded to provide one and I don't feel that is the way to go about seeking a good rating.
Overall, I would consider using the delivery driver again, as he has given me his business card.

When you placed your reservation; you were under pressure to have the vehicle loaded ASAP. There was also more vehicle's available than drivers. I knew I was going to "have to step on it" to get your vehicle loaded on a truck and in transit! providing 5 star customer service is our mission on every transport! I asked you in the very beginning stages...If I PROVIDE 5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO YOU DURING YOUR TRANSPORT; WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO POST A 5 STAR REVIEW REFLECTING THIS? You said YES! Of course! I found a driver with availability on his truck that SAME day! Your vehicle loaded just 3 days later and was only in transit 4 days! That's pretty good timing loading in AZ and delivering to MI. I have notes from talking with you 27 TIMES during your transport. After gathering your feedback at delivery you had no complaints other than your car was dirty. This would be expected since it went coast to coast on an OPEN carrier transport. I gave you my word that I would provide 5 star service...why not keep your word in turn? That's all I asked.
