The drivers were told that I needed 24 hours notice prior to pick up to make arrangments, but I was given 3 hours. The drivers were told that I needed 24 hours notice prior to the deliver date if the day was to change. I was given 2 hours notice on the day they arrived which was also a day early. The car had a fiberglass body and the drivers were told that they needed to push the car from the window frames and door jamb. When the car arrived it had major damage to the rear fender and front fender from excessive pressure during pushing as noted by the greasy hand prints on the rear bumper and fender. They forgot to apply the emergency brake and the car dropped back approximately 3 feet until the chains attached to the suspension caught it and prevented the car from falling off the trailer. The driver informed me that the body kit was loose and was falling off upon delivery. He assisted me in pushing the car to my driveway and then left. Upon inspection, confirmation with my contact person at the pickup location, and photos supplied while the car was being loaded, the damage was not previous and had occured during transport. The body was noted to be solidly mounted around the cracked areas. The drivers did not do a delivery inspection or deliver a receipt of delivery. The driver was informed that the insurance company had been contacted where he then threated to sue for non payment of delivery after he informed me I had not, in fact, given me a receipt I could produce. The driver then told me the cars damage occured strictly because of it's age. There was one exhaust tip missing and the other was loosely placed in the passenger floor board. I was told that they found the one sitting on the hood of another vehicle being transported during one of their stops. The tip was previously welded on and has marks on the lower side from being obviously dragged on the pavement. DO NOT USE under any circumstances.
