I contracted with Quickauto Transport in early Oct. to transport my vehicle from Calif. to Florida on Oct. 22 and paid a deposit of $300 by check. My vehicle has never been picked up and no one from Quickauto Transport is answering my emails or my phone voicemails.
I would appreciate any help with how I might be able to contact the government agency that licenses auto transporters in Virginia, so I can make a complaint, or any other suggestion as to how I can try to resolve my problem.
I have tried to locate the agency that regulates vehicle transport brokers but have not been successful.
I would also like any advice on how to make sure the next company I use is a "real" company and is reliable.
