Same story as many others. Quote was for $350.00 total, I have signed contract. Left a $150.00 deposit. They picked the car up on the last possible day contract would allow (10 days after first day car was available). Had every excuse, winch broke, driver had no insurance, etc. I called several times they wouldn't answer calls, left messages they never call back. All I wanted was to know what was going on and they can't even take a second to call back.Very frustrating. On day 10 I finally got a call from a guy that says he has my car (I was supposed to be notified when they found a driver!) He tells me I owe him $600 on delivery! I tell him my balance is $200. He said he has to call Polar. I get a call from a girl at Polar that says if I don't pay the $600 to the driver he is going to put my car into storage. (The contract also states if the price is any more than quoted I would be given the chance to cancel the order, but it's too late now because this guy has my car). She apologizes and tells me she will send me 2 $300 gas cards. You guessed it gas cards never showed up. I had called my local police about it before the driver showed up but they said it was a civil matter and it just depends on how bad I want to get my car. Obviously stay as far away from this shipping broker as possible. They quote you a fake low price and overcharge by keeping your vehicle hostage, I paid $750 after having a contract for $350.00 and on top of that they were later than they said and the service was terrible. I've shipped about 5 cars in the last 6 years, it is always a nightmare but these people were by far the worst ever. I am working with American Express to at least get my $150.00 deposit back, but even then I'm out $250 more than my contract price!
