I had a horrible experience with polar express. The only rating I would give them is a negative 5 stars. I contracted polar express to move my pickup truck from Phoeni,xAz. to Wisconsin. After several days of excuse(.broken winch, truck problems, ect...). I was given the option of paying an additional 200 dollars to expedite my pickup. This raised the total to 990 dollar from the contracted price of 790.. I made the mistake of giving polar express a deposit of 200 dollars at the signing of the contracta.A couple of days later a cowboy showed up with a 14 foot trailer and told me he was there to pick up my vehicle.The trailer he had did not look like it could make it across town much less across country. I express my concerns and after changing every tire on my truck to narrow ones I managed to load it on his very undersized trailer. He assured me he was going to another town and a different trailer would be used to complete trransport. Over the following days the story evolved and the end result was the cowboy showed up in wisconsin with the 14 foot trailer and my truck. He demanded 1100 dollars!!!! this in addition to the 200 allready paid made the total 1300 dollars. A long way from 790 that was on my signed contract. After trying to reason with him my truck and the undersized trailer left and a threat of impound was given by the cowboy and the fly by night transport company he worked for.The sherriff was called along with a call to polar express. I ended up paying a total of 1200 dollars to get my truck back. A promise was made by polar express to make things right by offering a gas rebate to me. the right thing would of been to give me a refund. And guess what the rebate never appeared. I hope everyone that has dealt with these crooks can get over the embaressment of being taken by these con artists. this is a sincere review and i would love to share pics of the trailer with my truck on it as proof of this horrible experience. I may never ship a vehicle again.
