After I had zero contact from GET IT DONE TRANSPORTATION Co., whom I had chosen initially, I contacted Jason Moore at Plaza. He told me I was well positioned in terms of price and location to get a carrier to transport my car. I had called early in terms of days. I called back several times and was re-assured everything was OK. Then, a few days before the pick-up had to occur, Jason told me he had a carrier, but it would cost me $100 more. I said no-way. Jason continued to look, he told me, and, more than oddly, sent me an email quoting the price for SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS LESS. That's when I looked for a local (Boston) transport company myself, hired one at a good price, and got my car delivered in a timely fashion. My advice is to not use a broker to transport your vehicle: it's too quirky, unreliable, frustrating and costly. Find your own local carrier/transport company.
