Like most folks, knew nothing about auto transport, so I went online and clicked on the first item that came up and put in for a quote to carshipping.com. This allowed 8 companies to put in bids to me by e-mail. Bids for this route (2100 miles or so) was anywhere from 650.00 to 1,600.00. Of course, after checking this website, I did settle for the cheapest bid and called Plaza Auto...which was the best thing I believe I could've done. After speaking with Robert, he explained the "auto transport game" and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about what drivers were picking up vehicles for. He underbid the quote at 637.00, put it on the driver boards, and within 30 minutes, a driver had picked up the contract and within 3 hours, the vehicle, for 650.00...just what I expected!!! Now, he did charge a broker fee of 130.00 which I found to be VERY LOW compared to other quotes I had received. If I hadn't called Plaza Auto, I am confident I would've paid 800.00 plus for the transport and 200.00 for a broker fee. Vehicle showed up in 7 days, 4 days earlier than expected...and of course, in perfect condiction. All in all...GREAT people to work with, very painless, and done with honesty and integrity. A wonderful experience. If I ever ship again...it will definitely be with them!!
