After my experience with Plaza Auto Transport I realized that, effectually, a complete stranger could have called this company and had my car shipped across the contiguous United States without my knowledge, all they would need is my credit card. DON WEAVER was the guy I dealt with. He seemed nice and was in a hurry to help me onto the next truck. He told me the price would be $750. I asked him "$750, out the door? Including taxes, gas, everything?" He said "Yes and you will need to put $125 deposit down on your card and pay the balance to the driver when he drops off your car." He sent me an email containing a paper that I was supposed to sign and scan back to them, but before I even opened the email they called me and told me they dispatched a driver who would be there tomorrow. So I never signed the paper agreeing to any terms and conditions and waiving liabilities. They just shipped my car, which would have been fine with me. I mean, pretty careless on their part, but I was fine with not waiving all my rights away...until the driver got to Cali with my car and was expecting $750...not $625, which is what DON WEAVER told me, explicitly, he would be expecting. No wonder DON WEAVER was in such a hurry! So I handed the driver my cash and called DON WEAVER and told him the deal. He tried to say "...you signed the deal" when I told him that, indeed, I had NOT signed the deal, he seemed shaken and slightly more willing to listen. Then I told him he could listen to our recorded phone calls if he wanted but he had misinformed me and I want my money back!!! Then he agreed to credit my credit card the $125, which he still has not. So today I called his supervisor to get my money back and the guy is all, "Sweetheart, nothing personal, we'll listen to the conversations, but rarely does the customer come out on top" I said, " YOUR REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME HE WOULD GIVE ME MY MONEY! Go listen then give me my money!!!" Bunch of Douchebags! Sweetheart? Don't patronize me! Your company is totally unprofessional and crooked. If I were you I would go with someone else. DISHONEST!
