I had to ship my son's car to California where he is in Air Force Tech school. Gilbert was the first quote that I got. I admit I was skeptical at first and confused about how to go about getting this done. I contacted at least 6 other brokers by phone, or should I say they contacted me, and had email conversations with a few more. ONce I put my car online the phone calls were non stop. By now, close to a week after the first call, I really was overwhelmed and I was ready to just pick the cheapest one out there. I instead decided to go with the first broker that contacted me, Gilbert. I have to say that I was surprised when the driver showed up exactly where and when he said he would be. I gave him the car Friday morning and just prayed that everything would turn out OK. Monday afternoon, my son called me and said the driver had called and would be there either Monday night or Tuesday morning. This sounded pretty incredible after all the horror stories I had heard from other brokers. Sure enough, the driver, John was there Monday evening just outside the base. He unloaded, my son paid him and returned to the base before his 10:00 PM curfew. The surprises didn't stop there. Most brokers told me that when you get a quote it is never the final quote and you should be ready to cough up a few more bucks but they were all wrong. What Gilbert quoted me was what I paid. I only gave him $100 up front and my son paid the balance when he got the car, in perfect shape. Gilbert, I would recommend you to anyone out there.
