Poor Service

The truck showed up a day early which was quite inconvenient. The driver insisted on an extra $200. The car was damaged in transport. We still had to pay the full amount to pick up the car but were told that the damage would be covered. We were then informed that the broken windshield must have been "an act of god" and would not be covered. We then asked for $100 back of the $200 from Philam for lousy service and got nothing.

I am disappointed to hear that you were less than satisfied with our service. However, we understand that some people are never satisfied and have unrealistic expectations. FIRST Your son’s vehicle had a documented crack in the windshield when picked-up, and this was became further cracked due to the vehicle being transported 3000 miles from Massachusetts to California. If you had driven it across country, it would have also have cracked further. This is pre-existing damage to your car, and the car was not damaged in transport. SECOND You placed an excessive amount of additional items (over 100+ pounds) in your son’s vehicle. This caused the driver to pay more in fuel and potentially jeopardize his entire truck weight when stopping at interstate scales. Though the driver had every right to keep this additional fee, he refunded it to you 100% as a courtesy since you were upset. THIRD We answered and listened to you ever time you called us. Where was the LOUSY SERVICE from PHILAM especially from me.I talked to you every single time and even ask the carrier to send you that money. We have been in business for years, and strive to offer nothing less than exemplary service. We are empathetic to your situation, but you are simply incorrect in your assessment. God Bless.
