Pretty good broker transport experience

Contacted Joanne and asked for a quote for open transport, top rack. She responded quickly with what was a great price for me for that service (commission paid to broker, rest paid to driver @delivery). Within a day, she gave me the contract information. The driver picked it up right on time, and delivered it early, which was a nice surprise. He was nice and had good communication in coordinating delivery. He did not ask for an amount different than what was owed. He seemed honest.

The only downside was that it was not on top rack. It was in bottom rack, and when I got to inspect the car after watching it being unloaded, I saw that it had hydraulic fluid all over it (in addition to being crazy dirty, which I expected). I washed it right away and no damage done. It was a little unpleasant since that was the level of service I had asked for and been quoted for, and expected. Looking at the contract email, I'm not sure the top rack information was even forwarded to the driver.

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. I would use this company again, but I would be more aggressive in ensuring that the level of service I paid for was what I would be getting. The timeliness and simplicity of ordering on short notice, quick pickup and early delivery were the highlights of this transport experience.

David, Thank you for the review. I am sorry that your vehicle was not loaded on top as requested. We load our trailers by the size and weight of the vehicle. We can only carry so much weight up front, in the middle and on the rear. Just depends on what other vehicles the driver has on. Unfortunately I do not charge more for top or bottom spaces. I tried that and even though the customer paid for a top space, they never received it. I did request it at time of dispatch. Over all, I am glad that you were happy with the move.
