Terrible Experience

This carrier was hired by Magic Carpet Auto Transport and the service was terrible. First, the carrier never contacted me regarding pick up until I contacted Magic Carpet and asked them what time pick up would be. After loading the car, the carrier did not have a copy of the paperwork for us, we had to make a copy ourselves. He told us the car would probably be deliverd Tuesday, Aug. 25 not Monday as was mentioned by Magic Carpet. On Tuesday late afternoon, the car was not in New York and we found out that the driver and car were still in Georgia. I was never contacted regarding the missed delivery date. The driver told Magic Carpet (at 3:30pm) he was leaving Georgia and would deliver the car the next day (Wednesday). When I called the driver at 4:00pm, he stated he was not leaving yet and would do so in about 2 hours. On Wednesday, August 26 at 3:30pm I called the driver and found out he was only in Cleveland, Ohio - he had not left Georgia until that morning. He stated he would have the car delivered between 9 and 10pm that night. Later that night when my husband called to see where the car was, he asked if he could deliver it at 9:00am the following morning - he promised he would be there. On Thursday, August 27 at 9:05am I contacted the driver and found out he was at least one hour away from Syracuse (the delivery site). At 10:45am I contacted him again because the car had STILL not been delivered. He stated his computer went down and he could not find out how to get to our location. After receiving directions from us, he finally delivered the car at 12:10pm. Once again he did not have proper copies of the paperwork - we had to have him sign our copy. This is not the way to do business!!!
