Zero responsiveness, multiple mechanical problems, no communication...I can't recommend this company to anyone.

I contracted through 4 Corners Auto Transport as the BROKER because they had a 5 star rating on transport reviews, despite the fact that their quote was higher cost. I wanted to be sure the transport of my car across the country was timely and handled by professionals. 4 Corners Transport enlisted OK Auto Carrier as the car CARRIER. OK Auto Carrier pushed to pick up the vehicle a day earlier than scheduled (which I was told they have a reputation for doing), and ultimately picked up the car half a day early at 7am, causing us some problems arranging our rental car. The contract estimated 7-10 days to deliver to NC, and despite early pickup, after 10 days the car did not arrive and I had not received any calls with an update. I called OK Auto Carrier numerous times without any answer. Only by contacting 4 Corners Auto Transport was I able to determine that there was a mechanical problem that caused a serious delay. On the 12th day I got a call from the OK Auto Carrier driver saying he would deliver at noon on the next day. However, after the 14th day I had not heard from the driver again, and again was unable to get into contact with the carrier. Eventually through 4 Corners Auto Transport I was able to find out that there was a second mechanical problem that caused ANOTHER delay. The carrier was not apologetic and most importantly, nobody called me to update me about the 2nd delay that resulted in a need to reschedule the delivery time. I was sitting around for several days waiting for my car and was unable to arrange for a rental car since I thought the vehicle would arrive any time. Not what I was expecting for the $914 I paid ($164 to the broker, $750 to the carrier).

I did get my car in good condition on the 15th day. I also admit the the multiple delays by mechanical problems were bad luck. However, there is no excuse for poor communication and not answering phones. DON'T use OK Auto Carrier or you will be sorry. Also be sure if you go through a broker that they do not contract with OK Auto Carrier. There are many better options out there. Use a company that answers the phone and keeps customers in the loop.
