Worst auto transport company I've ever dealt with!

I arranged for auto transport for my vehicle on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from Davis, CA to Galveston, TX. I entered in a contract with New Way Moving Services for this transport. Danielle, the customer service representative from New Way assured me that the car would be picked up between 2 days before or after the scheduled pick up date. Now, in their contract it states that it may take 2-4 days from your scheduled pick up date. As my scheduled pick up date came closer I called New Way many times to get a better idea for when they would pick up my car. Danielle assured me that they were working hard to find a driver and that it should be taken care of by August 20th. However, August 20th came around and I received no response from them. I tried calling all day and nobody returned my calls. Finally, on August 21st (Friday), I received a call from New Way saying that they arranged for pick up of my vehicle on Tuesday, August 25, 2009. This was a full 7 days after my scheduled pick up, and was clearly outside the terms of our agreement. Nonetheless, I was willing to hear them out. Then, the lady went on to say that the driver would not honor the price that New Way had agreed on, and that I would have to pay an additional $100 for my car to be shipped. That was the last straw. Not only was my car being picked up 7 days after my scheduled pick up, way outside New Way's stated parameters, but I was also being charged an additional $100 for the transport, which was also a breach of their contract terms. When I cancelled my transport with New Way, they assured me that they would review my case and my deposit would be returned. However, I received notice that my deposit could not be returned. I got the credit card company involved and they lost the dispute because in their contract, New Way, states that "additional delays may occur due to road, mechanical, weather, or human condition". Apparently, this disclaimer gives New Way the right to delay your transport as long as they want! DO NOT AGREE TO TRANSPORT BY NEW WAY, THEY ARE THIEVES! THEY WILL NOT RETURN YOUR DEPOSIT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE AND THEY WILL NOT PICK UP YOUR VEHICLE ON TIME OR FOR THE PRICE THAT IS AGREED UPON.

Mustafa, We are sorry to hear that, but as explained you over the phone, you had cancelled not within your cancellation terms, therfore you are not entitle for a refund. You had tried to dispute the charge with you credit card but they had declined that as well. We are willing to try to work out with you a resolution for that, feel free to contact our office to discuss this matter.
