I read a bunch of bad reviews online on transport reviews and on BBB website. These guys were the cheapest I got a quote from. So I was cautious. I asked them a bunch of questions as below:-

My husband was reviewing all the quotes we have received so far so he can make a decision. He checked you guys in the Better Business Bureau website and he was not too impressed with the ranking there. Further more he went and read some reviews online and was not happy with somethings he read.

* What kind of a guarantee can you give that when we make our initial deposit and sign the binding contract, that we will get the same good service that you have given us so far? (By the way, when you were out sick last week, someone named Robert called from your work and he was way too pushy. I like the way you communicate and give me space to make up my mind but prompt when I request information. I hope you continue to handle our project.)
* Can you guarantee that you will maintain within the pickup window and the delivery window once the contract is signed and the payment is made?
* I need assurance that there are no hidden fees. I don't mind paying a bit more to ensure I get a good service, ontime pickup and delivery AND there are no surprise charges.

Hi this is Rachel and im the sales manager i will be more then happy to help you with your move.
First of all I would like to thank you for the opportunity to earn your business.


3. We can guarantee pick up within 24-72 hours after placing the order and would be able to provide you with the carrier information with few hours after placing your order.
Please note that delivery time usually take 7-10 business days after pick up, so if we will pick up your belongings in the next few days I can guarantee delivery between 6/30-7/8 and I can put it in writing.

4. In regards to review and the BBB to be honest Manori all companies have complaints, the thing is that those web site don't give the company side of the story and do not provide the company size and volume.
We are in business over 5 years with 300-400 customers on monthly basis so if you compare that to the amount of complaints you see that we are in a good shape.
More then that please note that we are putting all efforts to improve all the time.

5. In regards to hidden fees - the only way that the price will change is in case you will have an add'l items on the day of the pick up - please note that you can update your list as many times as need up to 24 hours before the pick up date. Packing materials are not included so make sure that you are packing all your breakable items.

I was initially dealing with the sales rep but as soon as I asked them the above questions immediately a manager jumped in helped me. They kept their word and things got picked up on time. The pick up team is different to the delivery team.

Make sure to check with your building about the size of a truck they allow and convey that to the moving company.

The actual trucking company rep was a bit rude but Rachel took care of all the questions I had.

The only problem we had was that the delivery team left 5 boxes on the elevator and we didn't know until the security in the building called us. We had to move those by ourselves.

Other than this, these guys were super cool. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
