I had never used a car transport service before, but it was cheaper to ship my vehicles instead of buying new ones at the new location because of the new job I had just accepted. My problem was that everything had to happen as planned, in sequence, no room for error, or total disaster would drop-the-hammer down on me and my family at the last minute.
Within minutes of posting my 2 car shipping request on the web I was pounced-on by at least 15 companies all claiming they were the only honest and reliable transporters out there, one of them sounded good in claiming they were a family in business for many years and were the best, (this company got terrible reviews, lots of complaints etc. after I checked them out).
I contacted Nationwide Transport services, after reading many reviews an horror stories about dishonest predatory transport companies out there so I made the best choice I could after evaluating all the information I looked at. The person at the other end of the phone was Sal Roberts who explained to me all the details about what would happen next, he put me at ease about leaving my beloved vehicles (that I count on so much) in the custody of a stranger whom I new nothing about ( it was truly a leap of faith), Sal placed the shipping order and came up with a transporter/driver that was capable and willing to get my cars to me from door to door at an agreed-on price, Sal provided me with the driver contact info, after contacting the driver I was worried that he would not pick up the cars in time, my flight would leave and I didn't know what to do about my cars, So in my doubt I called Sal and told him I was worried about the whole thing, he reassured me that he could get someone else if that would make things right for me. I said no and stuck with the original driver, I'm glad I did, the driver was terrific, totally professional, new what he was doing, used excellent equipment and delivered my vehicles as promised, in the exact condition he picked them up, may God bless Sal Roberts of "Nationwide" and my transport driver William Lawson of "Big Tyme Trucking". I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs reliable transporter services...
