This review is mostly for Mary Carabal. She was my first contact person arranging transport for 2 vehicles from VA to ID. She is very personable and clear about the process. Only thing is, I asked about packing the vehicles and was told I could, but only up to the windows so as not to potentially obscure a view; The driver refuted this on pick-up, saying there would be a $200. charge (each vehicle but he "cut me a break" saying for both), due to excess poundage at the weigh station. Hmmm. I would say then, to the issue of "packing your vehicle to be transported" - it appears to depend on the actual driver who picks up the vehicle. This should be addressed up front. Also, people who are transporting their vehicles long distance should understand the initial contact is a broker who posts your transportation request for selection by independent carriers who, in turn have an agreement with broker. ALL communications between the client and driver are via the broker's number. The only time I communicated with Mary Carabal was in the beginning, to set all this up. Again, she was pleasant and explained the process clearly, telling me what to expect and when- reassuring me I would hear about a pickup within two days of the requested date. This was a little nerve-racking when I had a flight scheduled and needed to have the cars on their way before my flight. It all worked out. Whew.
