I Declined Quote for Auto Shipment

This group provided what I considered to be a best price quote for transporting an older classic auto that was to be shipped on a custom made trailer from NJ to Texas. They quoted a price for an enclosed trailer for $1250. After a few days they cancelled that quote and provided a quote for an open trailer at a higher price $1350. (lost on 2 counts). They stated that something in their entry had "defaulted" to select the enclosed version. (Huh?)

I questioned the price and why it increased by $100. and also went from an enclosed trailer to an open trailer, still costing more. I was informed that the person that worked the re-quote (Dan) was a different person than originally quoted it (Snowmobilenut). (Why is that my problem?)

Needless to say I elected to decline their offer and went with a source from eBay, where I purchased the vehicle.

Throughout this event I would ask a question of National Auto Trans and get an indirect or very distant answer.

You need to look at the uShip website (www.uShip.com) where I ran into these guys responding to the uShip quote request. They have a miserable 81% approval review and I can see why.
Look at nationalautotrans (30)

These guys also list a company with...

15000 TRUCKS
15000 DRIVERS

(Double Huh?)
