these guys were supposed to pick up and deliver, "door to door".
the seller of the car had to drive 30 mins to drop it off, and i had to drive 20 minutes to go pick it up.
when i got the call to come get my car, the driver told me he couldnt come meet me, because he had a flat tire. ok, stuff happens, so no biggie.
when i get there, my car is literally hanging off the truck, and had fallen off of one of the loading ramps, crushing the cross member under the front end.
the driver is frantically trying to unload the car, and when i told him i was going to get a camera at the circuit city, next door, leaving my wife behind to watch, he attempted to drive the car off of the truck. it would have been a 4ft drop!!
my wife literally had to stand in front of the car to keep him from driving it off.
i got back, took a bunch of photos, and ended up speaking with his dispatch, who told me it was no problem, and if there were damages, they would pay for the car to be repaired..
well.. now that i have a written estimate, its a different story.
there's 1200 bucks in damages, and guess who doesnt want to pay.

also, check out the motorcycle they were transporting for someone else. what a mess. i feel sorry for the owner.
