Happy in the end, but some bumps along the way

Customer Service both with Montway and the Driver was outstanding aside from the miscommunication regarding pick-up times. I requested a pick up on a Tuesday for pickup that Fri-Sun as I was flying out of town on the Monday following. The guarantee was that I would receive a driver by Sunday with no discussion of the possibility of that not happening. My car was not able to be picked up until Tues-Wed after the Monday I was scheduled to leave town so it caused some logistical challenges and stress on my end.

There was also an increase in cost by $50 above what was quoted in the original agreement, as this was the best arrangement that could be made given my tight timeline.

As we understood from the supervisor we spoke with at Montway, the company was not taking a commission on this transport as a result of 'negotiations' with the driver for a lower price, but as we heard from the driver, the majority of the payment does go to Montway and not to the trucking company. Definitely some mixed and questionable lines of communication and profit margin there.

Overall, I was pleased with the outcome and care taken with my car as well as the excellent communication with the driver throughout the transport, but the stress along the way was not planned nor desirable.
