The scam delivery

So you may have heard from me before. I sent a raging review on Continental AutoMovers (don't use them either).

This company - Mid America took the vehicle transport for Continental and got the car close but no cigar. They jacked up the price another $50 and finally picked up the car on a Monday, 7/6. I heard nothing from them the whole week and they did not answer their phones. I have found this is strangely typical for the crooks in this business. After waiting through the weekend I sent a couple of emails threatening to call the State Police as it was a stolen/missing vehicle at this point and I needed answers.

Amazingly on Monday, 7/13 (yes one whole week later) I got a call from them saying my car was about 80 miles away and they would try and deliver it on Wednesday, 7/15. I told them I would come and get it as by this time I had lost faith in all of them. We drove to get the car and inspected it and sure enough it had a scrape on the right side wheel well. When I asked for the driver pick up inspection report Clay said sure and went inside. After some time I followed to find where he went and he was sitting at the desk making an inspection report - scribbling damage all over (so they would surely be covered). Busted cold out - no signed document filled out as I waited. I knew the damage was from the delivery because I had the pictures to prove pre shipping condition. Lucky it is only a $25 chrome strip and I wont file the claim as it is a huge hassle. But - the point is they had the car before the weekend and didn't call or deliver it when they had it. And then they forged an inspection document and got caught.

DO NOT USE THIS CARRIER. SMALL BACKWOODS OPERATION AND SAME SERVICE.
