Car was scratched pretty good upon delivery. Contacted Mercury and had I known that I had to do all the leg work to get the issue resolved I would have never contracted with them. Make sure you know how issues will be resolved prior to any agreements with any transport company. Still have not had the issue resolved.

s the broker, we are only here to provide documentation and facilitate communication between the responsible parties. We are the middleman and in no way responsible for anything that happens without us being present, which we never are during any part of the transportation process. It is the carrier who is responsible for any and all damages, which it says right in our contract. We have done everything on our part. We hired a carrier with valid insurance and with good ratings. I apologize that your vehicle has sustained damage during its transport. It is regrettable, and although it is not very common, accidents can occur. I am sorry that you believe we are responsible here when in fact, we are never present during any part of the transport process and must rely on the information we are provided from both parties. We did all that we could to support you in your damage claim against the carrier by emailing calling, and texting the carrier to get them to work this out with you. By law, we as the broker are not allowed to file a claim against the carrier's insurance in must be the legal owner of the vehicle.
