Unprepared pickup and inflicted car damage during transit

Hello all. I recently had my car delivered from Florida to New Jersey. What ran into a problem end up being a VERY BIG headache. For starters, my front bumer was cracked somewhere during transit and the Bill of Landing was never signed because from the recipient because the truck driver FAILED to give an early heads up of his arrival at the destination. So he figure he could drop it off and call me and let me know after dropping it off. What's the point of a Bill of Landing contract if the truck driver doesn't issue to both the shipper (me) and the recipient? More details in the link below.
