It wasn't a good experience as far as I see it. Probable they are all the same or not.

Good points.
Pick up - late 2 days, but they told me in advance,
Delivery - on time.

Communication: very good.

Company used for transportation: friendly.

No damages.

Bad points:

Price:
Originally, they priced the service at $1026. They had the 'match the price' and I showed them another offer I had with $926. They accepted it. They showed me the conditions that came with this 'match the price ' program. If they won't find a carrier within 5 days, the price will go up at $1026 as they gave me the first time. Also they sent me an e-mail telling me that other companies they are asking more money after you close the deal with them and they are not the same. I trust them thinking that they will really find me a carrier. After 4 days I realized that my car won't move from Florida and they are waiting - in order to get more money. I call them asking about this and suprise after a few hours they found me a company willing to transport the car, but also they were asking for more money. The price went back to $1026. Reason it was that the driver wanted more money.

It's up to you to believe that they are honest or not.

Transporting:

They told me that will be only one truck, one driver handling my car.
Surprise again - two carriers, two drivers. Tampa, Florida to Lincoln, Nebraska first driver and the second driver from Lincoln, Nebraska to Bellingham, Washington. Also I believed that my car will be on a truck, but surprise again - it was towed.

To many surprises for me coming from #1 Magic Carpet Auto Transport.

Thank you.

Paul thats not exactly how the increase in price occuured. We completed your order on 12/7/2010 and then on the 13th before any adjustments were made to your quote I sent you the following e-mail-Hi Paul, I have a carrier that wants to transport your vehicle with a pick up date of the 16th and a delivery date of the 26th. He wants $900 to transport your vehicle. The total amount is $1025. The $125 would be captured on the 16th when your vehicle is picked up and the $900 is paid to the driver on the 26th in cash, money order or cashiers check. Do you want to go with this carrier? Your response was yes so I changed your order and forwarded the information to the dispatch dept I tried to explain to you several times (when you were making accusations that we weren't making an effort to dispatch your vehicle prior to the expiration of the 5 days in order to change the quote to the original amout) that if the quote increased It wouldn't effect our fee. The only amount that would change would be the drivers fee. Since our fee wouldn't flucuate there isn't any financial advantage gained by us delaying the dispatch of your vehicle or by the quote amount increasing. I futher explained that the longer it took the less my company makes because the time spent on your transport increases without any fee increase lowering the per man hour revenue received. I see from your review that you still don't seem to grasp that concept and I appoligize for not being able to articulate that in way you could understand. The transport is one truck one driver statement is true unless there is an unforseen emergency affecting the driver or there is mechanical issues with the truck so extensive that it's unable to complete the route. Unfortunately my crystal ball is a little foggy when it comes to predicting either one of those scenarios. I wish this would have been a more pleasant experience for you Paul and I'm not sure what else I could have done to help it be more pleasant. R.
