The entire auto transport process is strange. The initial websites broadcast your info to several companies. These companies (like Magic Carpet) then contact you and you start negotiations with them. They then in turn, contact the actual carriers. I was nervous working this way without a contract but it all worked out very well and Magic Carpet was great. There was a surchage ($50) for the instant service but worth it for me. From my final conversation with them to the car delivery was about 4 days! Staff was amazingly friendly but then my transport was super smooth.
