Customer Service skills could be improved

Overall, I had a positive experience with shipping my car. It was picked up, transported and delivered. However, getting the order placed was difficult. Getting a quote was easy and there were no hidden fees. But I think the online interface and the representative's follow-up skills could be improved.

The terms and conditions mention using a credit card at the time of order, that won't be charged until the vehicle is picked up, but there was no place in the online order form to put the credit card number. After waiting a 11 days to hear from the company, I emailed and was told that Kathy had called me immediately after getting the order to take my credit card info. I guess she didn't leave a message (why not?) but my phone didn't even register a missed call. Why did she not send a follow-up email after not getting me? or try back the next day? Why did I have to wonder why I hadn't heard from them to call and try to give them money? Didn't they want my money?

So, I tried calling. Kathy was unavailable and after waiting all afternoon for a return call, I called back again. Eventually, I was able to give my information to the receptionist. I think they did make a big effort to make me happy and my pick up was only two days later.
