Magic Carpet was recommended to us so we called and gave them a pick-up and delivery window that was far more than what they said they needed. The next day we were contacted and told that our car would be picked up on a date that was much earlier than the first date we told them the car would be available. The agent apologized and a few days later we were called again and told that the car would be picked up on a Thursday, which was fine, and that the driver would contact us that day or the night before. By midday Thursday, we had not been contacted so I phoned the agent who said that the date had been moved to Saturday. (Did anyone think to call us and let us know?) We waited for another call on Saturday (deja vu?) but again never received one, so again I called the company and was told that the car wouldn't be picked up until Tuesday (Again, did anyone think to call us and let us know?) and that the driver was "double teaming" which meant our car would still arrive in Maryland by Saturday. Tuesday rolls around and the driver calls and arranges to meet us. We tell him that the company told us that he was double teaming and that the car would be delivered on Saturday. He said it wasn't true and that the company hadn't contacted him about our car until the day before and that there was no way he could deliver it before Monday. When we contacted the company, we basically got the "shrugged shoulder" treatment. A second call was never returned. The car showed up at 1:00 am on Monday night.

I have to stress here that the driver wasn't at fault and was very nice.

SO IF YOU ENJOY BEING LIED TO, IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR CALLS RETURNED, IF YOU DON'T MIND WAITING, THEN I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAGIC CARPET.
