Like most brokers, I don't think they had a lot of control over the actual transporters and their communication. The original truck driver was injured, then his truck broke. There was some waiting for this to transpire. More than a week later my car was picked up by another carrier and it took 11 days to be delivered. It was in an enclosed trailer but the car was filthy (the trailer had soft sides and raise-able top...both leaked).

I don't blame Magic Carpet for any of this. Their communication was pretty good to me and fair to the seller of my car. During two different phone calls I got the distinct feeling that the woman on the other end of the line was having PMS. These were not Crystal, but some other women that answered the phone.

Bottom line: next time I am going to book directly with a transporter that I select myself and skip the broker.
