pickup truck transport california to mass

called magic carpet to transport truck i bought in california after bad experience with another carrier was told no problem and quoted $1400.00 plus $170 fee to magic carpet. no one would pick truck up for that amount quoted prices dont mean a thing, magic then added #150.00 of their fee to trucking price still no pickup,had to add another $50.00 then was charged an additional $ 100.00 for extra weight for for some pieces in tool box for a total of $1600.00 then i was told it was going to be picked up but now pickup point is 200 miles from where it was supposed to be and the new pickup piont was surprizingly right where all trucks load up to head east nice trick.
called greg to see why that was and was told that was the address i had given him when in fact he had the right address but he had transposed one of the numbers in the zip code and then said no one would pickup truck in town it was in, but other cars from that town were bieng picked up was then told the seller of truck would have to drive it over 100 miles to meet transporter when i called greg to ask for a price reduction since i could have gotten anyone to pick the truck up for much less from the central trucking depot area and when was it finally going to get picked up? all calls and emails went unaswered after that i didnt even know who was transporting my vehicle untill it it showed up 9 days later (2 days late) of the seven quoted
and dirty and in the end magic carpet added another $200.00 for their fee at the end total $1800.00 and since have recieved many offers for giving a positive review

Greg Bailey- 360-853-2821- James, I'm sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the customer service that you received from Greg. Since he did make a mistake with zip codes i don't think he really realized where it was being picked up from, if he would of not transposed a number he would of realized that pick up location is VERY VERY difficult for trucks to get to since most trucks run I-5, and HWY 101 and 20 are both difficult hwys for 18 wheelers to drive. Again I am very sorry that you had a bad experience with our company. Please let us know how we can improve our customer service.
