If I have to ship a vehicle again in the future, I will only call one company. Magic Carpet rocks!
I had a 1999 GMC Safari that I needed shipped from Georgia to Louisiana. Other companies gave me price quotes of $600-$700. Magic Carpet said they could ship it for $519. One other company said they could ship for $450. Magic Carpet said they could post it on the board at that price but it could take a few extra days to get it moved. After 3 days, I told them to bump up the bid to $500 to get it moved faster.
A Shaylean called the next day and said that they had a truck scheduled to pick up the van, but that it was going to cost $599. I told them to just cancel the order that I'd go with the other company. She then said that they would cut off their share of the sale and go ahead and have it shipped for $500. The van arrived on time for and I only paid the $500. I'm satisfied.
