I paid a premium price to have my 1971 Dodge California Highway Patrol classic car transported enclosed from California to Oklahoma by Luxury Auto transport. The driver was caught by several persons abusing the car during a load/unload stop in California enroute to Oklahoma (on copcar.com). He was racing the engine causing the fan shroud to break apart, broke the whip antenna base and damaged the transmission. The car would not start on delivery (out of gas which we had no clue of) due to his playing around so we had to have it towed from the truck where all misuse was repaired for $500+ including towing. The company refuses to answer my 15 emails or return phone calls to try and make this right. I urge all prospective customers to avoid Luxury Auto Transport at all costs! I will be informing all of the major car clubs throughout America of this experience for my own satisfaction... for an indefinite time.
