One could NOT ask for a better experience than I had shipping a car from Austin to my daughter in California than I recently had with Lone Star Car Transport. Lone Star is a first class operation run by first class Texans - if you are a Texan, or even if not, I would use this outfit of kind, competent, and friendly professionals. In this highly competive, potentially shady industry, I think trusting your shipper is key. Not to mention that Lone Star's price was very competitive - about in the middle of the many quotes I received (a quote too low would have made me suspect that there would be "add-ons" later or inadequate insurance). I would use Lone Star again in a heartbeat. I had no experience shipping a car until this and got involved because the dealership where I bought the used car was not willing to contact a shipper prior to recieving my check and signed paperwork for the purchase. I, on the other hand, wanted to make sure that this car got out to my daughter in California ASAP. This was a special case for me and Lone Star took it to heart as well. Frankly, my daughter is in California trying to get her life in order - trying to get school, work, and volunteer activities going while working hard to recover from addiction. A car from me, was just what she needed - a way to get going and a strong vote of confidence and support from her family back home. Lone Star got right on it - understood how important this was to our family and was able to deliver the car in perfect shape two days early than expected to one very excited girl. Misty at Lone Star was the best - keeping both me and my daughter very well posted every step of the way - by both phone and email. In addition, my daughter said the driver was extremely professional and kind. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend Lone Star Car without reservation to anyone.
