My son is a Marine in North Carolina , he served in Iraq and came back , thank God . One of his friends he served with went on leave to California to visit his family he left his truck with my son to take care of until he returned. My son has a wife who is due with a precious baby girl any time and they were without a vehicle because while the friend ( Marine ) was in California visiting family he was stabbed to death . This situation caused a major loss not only in the Marine's family but also the loss of a brother a fellow Marine to my son . We drove 24 hours to comfort our son and than went back to Texas , while in Texas we receive a phone call that the family from California had retrieved the truck that my son was taking care of so my husband said why not just give him one of our cars , which was paid for , I ( the mom ) searched and searched the lowest price to transport the vehicle was 700.00 dollars until I decided to pray about it . We went to church , I asked a truck driver if he knew anyone , he gave me a name , than that person gave me a name and this went on about 6 times until I reached Lone Star Car Brokering and spoke to a lady who did nothing but help me right of the bat , her name is Evan and I know she will be blessed for all the work she put into this , I told her what happened and she said she would call me back , which she did and asked if I could bring the vehicle to Abilene that night and I said today and she said that they could try to get it on a truck the same night or the next day . I was only charged 500.00 dollars and the last thing besides me thanking her constantly that I remebered her saying its o.k. we want to help support our military . My son has the car know , the baby is not born yet , but they are so thankfull and so are we .
