Jay Phillips--terrible experience

Jay Phillips shipped our two cars from CA to FL. One car was delivered on time, but was completely covered in a caked brown substance and absolutely wreaked of horse manure. The second car, which for some reason was not shipped with the first despite being picked up at same time, was delivered a week and a half later that we were told. More importantly, it had a long, deep scratch on the front. Had they given a heartfelt apology and fixed the scratch, I probably would have just been frustrated and unlikely to use their services in the future. But it got worse. After filing a written claim and sending photos (as our delivery person instructed), we received a brief phone call from Tim Phillips who only said that our claim was denied (provided no basis for this decision--not that one could have existed), and recommended that we phone Jay Phillips if we wanted to contend. Jay Phillips has ignored our numerous phone calls, leaving us with no avenue to pursue a fair outcome other than legal action. We are currently contemplating this. In summary, the service Jay Phillips provides is poor (not on time, and cars are not cared for), and far worse is that the fact that they are completely unwilling to address customer problems (which are likely to occur). At a minimum, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!
